I recently changed from the tracker to the fox frontier but went for the XD with inner capsule and got the social extension mainly as i go fishing with son and his mates a lot and they generally gather in my swim and if its raining in my bivy. XD with the inner capsule is about the same size as the X not that I will use it till winter. The last few session with it I can keep my main area uncluttered have room to sit two or three people in the extension and if raining do all my BBQ and cooking without getting wet. Lakes i fish at have really large swims so not a problem.

Things I like is unlike my previous bivvy (yes they adopted most of these into the RS)

The ground sheet clips in
Pockets inside the bivvy
The amount of headroom I am 5' 11" and can almost stand up
You can do up/undo the side and back windows from inside the bivy (yes even with the inner shell)
the fold back ground sheet section - even with the extension I don't bother with the ground sheet so its a great idea
Everything is included so with the extension you get full side and front mozzie, normal full enclosed door section etc
the oversized bags are actually oversized packing it back down and putting it in bag is a doddle
the storm poles are great

Negatives

the XD + Extension if you take everything its heavy

All in all I rate it better than the Trakker I had and even though it weights more it to me at least seems to be mainly as its stronger and I generally trim it down by only taking the bits I actually need which saves a lot of weight
