Yes. I always assumed that Company was about a closeted gay man. For those ‘in the know’. But the heterosexual sex turns him into a little bit of a predator so that idea had to be squelched.

But, he’s a New Yorker, but even if he’s not Jewish, Why doesn’t “Bobby Bubby” say “Oy Vey” at the end of Barcelona. So much effort put into the rhyme scheme and then rejected. Unnerving.
