I used to work in pentesting and I gave up on these. I don't learn a damn thing by cracking my skull open against a wall - I need worked examples, or given the answer and walk myself back to the start so I understand how I got there.

Most of these labs are frankly esoteric nonsense I never encountered in a real job.
