people need to accept that no growth is achieved without being uncomfortable first.

Only when Feynman himself claims to feel stupid most of the time, you know you're in serious trouble.

I’m struggling with my own research and Feynman helped me realize that I can make it too. Thank you legend.

Feynman really said return to monke, what a legend!

That's why he gave a life lesson to young interviewer who asked Feynman why magnets repel each other.

Wow, Feynmann feeling stupid. I went to community college in Pasadena right next to Caltech where Feynmann taught. His grave is close by, so I went to visit it. One of my math teachers at CC was a friend of Feynman's too. Now i'm a civil engineering senior at UC Berkeley and it helps to hear Feynmann say this. Confusion and feeling stupid are pretty much my default emotional states at the moment.

I guess I'll never be as stupid as Richard Feynman ... unfortunately.

What I love about Feynman is how he never lost his original accent and manner of speech. If you don't know who he is and you hear him talk like that you could confuse him with one if those Bugs Bunny characters. I love it that he never bothered with snobism at all and he kept the focus on science.

*Realizes the Feynman diagrams are sticks coming together to reach curved lines that are not unlike bananas in shape*

In a way it is not surprising that Feynman felt stupid most of the time, since his main activity consisted in working on a topic that nobody really understands, namely quantum mechanics.

Feynman: In the top 5 of smartest geniuses ever, yet sounds like a humble supporting character on The Honeymooners. My hero.

As someone once said: There is no such thing as a "math person". Just people who can handle the psychological impact of getting stuck and still continuing.

Wolfram mentioned this angry trait in Feynman when he couldn't understand something Wolfram was doing in the computer.

I'd trust Richard to gather the bananas

After trying to learn programming, this is the best thing the youtube algorithm could show me.

I have but a crumb of his intellect, but overcoming the confusion with an elegant solution is one of the most beautiful (and humbling) experiences in life

something about his voice and the way he talks makes it sooo interesting to listen. amazing!

This guy is wholesome.
Maybe someday he'll get a degree in physics for his hard work

I was eating a bowl of cereals, I looked at the first sentence in the title of the video, then I looked at the thumbnail. I looked at the sentence again, then Feynman's face. I started laughing and spat out my food on my keyboard.

That's so true. As a student I have to learn a lot of information and sometimes I don't understand some concepts on the get go, so I think about them a very long time until I get the hang of it.
