GI Bill benefits can help veterans pay for college, graduate school or professional training. Jose Soto, an Air Force veteran and psych major at @SaintXavierUniversity1846 who also serves as Vice President of the Student Veteran Alliance, shares the story of his journey to college with host Cobretti and Pat Beckwith, former Company Commander in the Army @nationalguard / current Director of Military & Veteran Services at the @UniversityOfMontana. I’m a student veteran at Grand Canyon University and it’s a new experience, still getting used to it, I got out of active duty army in 2022 and started the fall semester quickly, I have more experience in life than half of these college students.. I’m a freshmen and I’m 22 years old so I have classes with 18 & 19 year old. A lot of them are undisciplined and stress over the little stuff while I turn in my assignments early and not contemplate because that’s what the Army taught me.
