Another antiquated law that doesn’t make sense in world today. What was the method of birth control in 1864. We are supposed to evolve yet we keep looking back at the past laws that need to be revised. So glad I live in a state that cares about a person’s health and wellbeing.

To top off the absurdity, Arizona was not even a state until 1912, yet they are allowing an 1864 ruling to be enforced by next week. This isn’t conservative it’s regressive. But keep on snatching losses Republicans, this is a gift to Democrats.

The Arizona Supreme Court is composed of seven justices who are appointed by the governor and then must stand for retention by voters thereafter. A full term on the court is six years. Two justices who upheld Arizona's 1864 abortion ban are up for reelection. Who are they? ---
Associate Justices Clint Bolick and Kathryn H. King will be on the ballot in November after the two voted to enforce Arizona's 1864 abortion ... Here's your chance Arizona voters to get rid of two of them by voting them out

If I'm a Democrat with political ambitions, this sure sounds like a sweet time to run for office. Just saying for a friend...🌊

Saying things are old doesn't mean its better. The craziness i see today is WAY crazier than what was going on in the 1800's. Just saying.

Is there a possibility that they might legalize slavery? I would not put it past them...

Imagine calling the corpse of a post miscarriage loss as an "abortion"

3:28 legislating from the bench is a weird read since it was passed by a legislature

The only laws they need to send Arizona back to is the 1800s Insurrection Act.

We have to vote at the local level. It's more important than national elections

Yes remind people that it is not just about voting for the right president. We need to vote for the right Representatives & Senators too!

States should be able to decide who they want on their ballot.

And its not even enough really, just to tell Arizonans 2B sure & elect a Dem Gov & AG; & vote out those 'Justices' - they must ALSO, re-elect Biden, & give him a DEM Senate AND House. We must leave NO STONE unturned in order to best secure a Woman to maintain her bodily Agency, not just in AZ even, but Nationally!
