Damian Lillard did the same move but dunked it instead and no travell was called. Kevin durant did this and no travel was called . lebron does it all the time and no travel is called.... maybe because its not a travel. lol Ray allen been in this league longer than some of you been alive. I think he knows what the fuck he's doing. In the NBA refs don't call a travel for that.

1st of all, that isnt a travel, that is a gather step. 2nd of all, dont forget, ray allen was in the dunk contest once in his career...

Long time NBA and Mavericks fan here. There is no traveling on this play at all. Some of you don't know the rules. Steps are counted when the player has fully established control of the ball. He only took two steps after full possession was established, meaning he had control of the ball with no bobbling and so forth. I despise the cHEAT as much as the next guy but don't let your hate blind you from the facts.

It's the NBA; there's always a gather step guys, which means there's 3 steps. No matter how you look at it he had full control of the ball in his hands on his second step, and then he takes two more.
