The coolest part of The Millenials (second pod hotel) is free beer happy hour each day! You meet a lot of people that way

For 120 dollars I'll enjoy an actual 4 star hotel room thanks

Ngl, I wish we had these in the States sometimes, especially in dense metro areas when you're just passing through or need a place to crash after an event.
I'm not sure Americans are mature enough to handle it, but it would be nice to have.

Even 40 dollars for a capsule hotel is way too steep. 💀

What I learned from capsule hotels- don't stay in them unless you're on a significant budget. If you sleep even remotely warm, you're gonna be on fire. They also record you for "sleep feedback analysis" and say your pod will cool down if you're running warm- that was a lie

No noise allowed, I'm sure they'd be absolutely delighted about my snoring

The bed that folds in half to wake you up needs to become mainstream in every home 😂

The fact that you can’t eat in your pod is a red flag idk if I could do that

120 got me a 5 star room on floor 62 with a king size bed, a 50 inch tv, a closet, a bath tub, two bathroom sinks, and smart controls - plus I could see Mount Fuji from my window.

That bed could fold me like an omelette and I'd still be snoozing.

$40 and $120 for a pod?

For 120$ a night, you can just stay in a regular hotel. It won’t be in the middle of shinjuku, but it’ll still be a regular hotel. With a whole room for yourself. I don’t see why anyone would ever choose a 120$ capsule hotel. It defeats the purpose of capsule hotels. Affordability is the point.
