That pause spoke volumes to me.. after listening to Mike throughout the past yrs on various podcasts and getting a more in-depth view on just how tough, but also how sensitive Mike is- I feel like the statements that followed were more like a personal pep talk- something Mike was saying to remind himself of the person who he felt like he had to be at that moment in order to just simply survive.. mentally
