Orlando organizer reacts to ‘momentous’ union win for Amazon workers

The passage of a union among Amazon warehouse workers is a historic first for one of the largest employers in the U.S., union organizers said Friday.

When the Amazon General Counsel said that Smalls was “not smart, ” and “won’t win, ” he demonstrated exactly the problem with Corporate America. Smalls are those warehouse workers are national heroes. Otherwise powerless people with the courage to stand up for one other for what’s fair and decent.

I'm so glad he's an Millennial and a black man. They love to say Millennials and black men are lazy and entitled and yet Chris was able to organize and lead others to get the the second biggest employer in the USA to unionize. Millennials are of the Pluto in Scorpio Generation (born Novemeber 1983- November 1995) which is the generation that's going to change the world. We are the new WWII heros and new G.I Generation. The floodgates have been open and they cannot be closed

Bad choice to be unionist with Teamsters. You keep paying your union fees every week but no where to fight for you. O yes an automatic raise every year that’s all. After I retired Teamsters delay for years to get your $35 every month, , they want you to die before you start collecting your pension funds.
Must watch the movie ‘’The Irishman‘’ 2019 the the movie will explain how they work against you. More strikes for sure and quality and service will drop.

well good luck with the union guys but in my option, unions are just there to take money off your pay check and not much else! If your lazy and concerned you might be fired the union will be good for you, if your a hard worker you can forget about moving up in the world because in a union its all about seniority
