The speaker is underperforming, you may want to consider getting a stronger amp maybe a 900 watt or a 1000 watt. This speaker is made to for high end LP(low pass). Id love to see this speaker spread its wings and fly. I have 2 L7 10" and 1 L7 12" connected to a 2 channel 2000 watt kenwood amp in bridge mode and they really flow.

Sorry in my option kicker sucks their bass are not clean they don’t flex right either probably cause they’re square.
