This is the first time I've seen/heard anyone talk about The Library of Unrequited Love. I enjoyed it!

Northanger Abbey is one of my must-reads for autumn. I re-read it almost every year and I recommend it to anyone who'll listen! 😅❤

These are great recommendations! I love witchy books in Autumn- especially King's Witch by Tracy Borman as it's set round a certain plot in November... also Gentleman in Moscow has a strong autumn/winter vibe. And Pat Barker's Regeneration trilogy

I was today years old when I discovered what Northanger Abbey is about… and now I’m very intrigued 👀🖤

Have you read The Murder of Mr Wickham by Claudia Gray? She takes characters from all Jane Austen’s novels plus Juliet Tilney, Catherine’s daughter, and Elizabeth and Darcy’s son Jonathon, and the two youngsters investigate the titular mystery.

It’s a really good mystery, and certainly for the novels I’ve read she gets the characterisation spot on. Plus, she doesn’t name it, but Jonathon Darcy is clearly supposed to be autistic and it’s one of my favourite fictional portrayals of an autistic person.

There are two sequels which look good too.

I loved Babel. The exploration of colonialism was wonderful and heartbreaking.
