Bought a couple of these now & does a good job. I've caught 🐿squirrels in with monkey nuts in the past & caught 🐀rats with bits of dog food for bait one caught only 5 minutes ago!!!

I've not experienced any escapes & found them pretty reliable so far 🙂

The plate spring is a thin metal pin that has no power to lift the plate high enough to allow the activating lever to hold, itself rounded to slip too easily. It's impossible to set this up successfully, especially if outside in windy weather. The spring badly needs improving!!
