Let me try this way instead of replying to the posts addressed to me. I re-wired all the connections with a crimping tool and ferrules for each wire in the main controller and the solar charge controller and properly sized eyelets for the connections to the battery. The original installation battery wiring was stripped about 2-3 inches and wrapped around the screw type lugs on the battery and tightened with a nut, no washers. I used the smallest ferrules that would fit the wires into the charge controller and main control unit after being stripped, twisted and trimmed to the correct length. The ferrule kit I used came from Amazon called 'VANOW Crimping Tool Set'. I purchased it for another project but it has since been used for other stuff.

My system was installed just shy of 2 years ago. I've had some issues with the gate not opening, closing and some otherwise unusual behavior. The system is set up with a 12v deep cycle battery, a large solar panel and a solar charge controller. It works, but every issue I've had with this setup can be directly traced back to the installer wiring and bad connections at the battery, the charge controller and the main Ghost control unit. Stripped and twisted wiring at every location doesn't last. There needs to be terminal ends where screw connections and wire-to-wire connections are made in addition to wire ferrules anywhere a screw clamp connection is made, which are all of the solar controller connections and most all of the Ghost controller connections. The bare wire connections do not last as they lose connection and voltage over time.

i plan on mounting the Control Box on the fence mesh itself, i have 2"x4" 12 gauged metal wire horse fencing. How do you recommend mounting it?

Where is the video for the double gate (TDS2) control box connection????

Damn the technician could of atleast leveled the boxes and also suggested wire management techniques
