Can EAFC 24 Be Saved?

Ea are probably happy with every gamemode being ultra competitive. If your squad gets tested every game you play, the chance that you get frustrated and buy packs goes up. Ea only cares about money and thats the very sad truth

I just bought the game 😭😭😭 I’ve been playing fifa since 98 but I’ve taken a longtime off. Man the passing, player switching, midfielders just randomly running away from defending, every shot results in a corner the list goes on. Crazy how they actually released this.

I have been so furious about the game after the patch. Before it, I was progressing and had fun. But after the patch, I have felt that the gameplay has changed a lot. I dont have control of my team. Players are running like that are glued to the ground. My CBs cannot follow the opposition players in the penalty area because they are in slow motion.

If I can chime in as a casual player, Ultimate Team should be regulated. They should limit special cards per squad, and create a restricted list for certain players who are considered 'meta.' Every other competitive collectathon does, so I'm surprised that EA doesn't, and I don't think this issue can be overstated.

I saw a lot of competitive players complain about the TOTY Messi problem, which I understand as a casual, because it's precisely the same with me in Division 9 when I face a full team of Icons. I'm fully content with playing with a team I want to use, which is Paris FC, I never expected to win a lot, but at least hold my own for a few divisions, yet I can't hold my own because everyone either has ridiculous loan cards like 99-match loan Haaland, or a full team of Icons and other Special Cards.

This game is a glorified mobile game that we pay £60 for. Mobile games that run on a similar formula to Ultimate Team are free. It wouldn't be so bad if this game didn’t neglect other modes in favour of their paywhale game mode.

1 - Wanting separate UTs for men and women’s sports actually makes sense for me 2 - Didn’t buy EA qnd started playing Efootball this year which is free and you can go up to top divisions F2P 3 - EA is really making pack opening too mandatory which might prey on people prone to addiction (they all do it but much more than other games) 4 - Attacking is so bad, No AI or real different tactics at all , only realized that when I switched to Efootball 5 - UFL is coming up f2p and you will have FIFA 25 by 2k I already left and not coming back

End of the video is the most important part. If the gameplay is good, 80% of these complaints go away Bcus it’s simply fun to play the game. No game modes can save EAFC, only fixing the gameplay can

IDEAS FOR EA ULTIMATE TEAM/CAREER MODE: Solo and Multi-player UEFA Champions League mode, All Nations in the Youth Academy, FIFA Storage (For Cards), A solo player mode DIV 10 TO TOP 200, Less Promos, Multi-Player Career Mode (A bunch of EA games have Multi-Player Career Mode), Monthly Rewards (Reward players with one special card depending how much hours they played), Add Beckenbauer back to EAFC.

heck no!!! after my career mode froze after 3 seasons of time spent I went back and purchased Fifa 23. Something about having Fifa attached to it and an actual world cup feels better.

Used to love the bronze and silver and league tournaments (fifa 12) that would encourage you to play with lower rated players you would never use plus you could buy and sell players from that league to make coins when a new tournament came out.

I stopped playing and life is much better. When something strange happens in the game, it's not bad coding, it's not EA incompetence, it is deliberate.

EA have patented matchmaking and systems that have you winning and losing to keep you hooked. Don't buy their games and most of all do not buy packs. It is the only way things will change. The things you see EA doing or not doing, are not accidental. Momentum/Scripting/DDA has been in the franchise for over a decade now. You can see it and feel it in the game.

Pro clubs needs tournaments too, they had them in 23 every week or so.

They wont give us repeatable tournaments or game modes because people will stop buying packs to gain fodder for sbcs
