I hate that I know exactly what video this animation is based on.

For those unaware, there’s a video from somewhere of a kid on a bus doing that kick thing to a random adult, but instead of asking the kid to stop, asking his parents to tell him to stop, or moving seats, this dude legit *picks up the kid, SLAMS HIM TO THE FLOOR AND BEATS THE ABSOLUTE HELL OUT OF HIM.*

I’m not saying that in a funny way either, it was honestly a disturbing video. The dude seemed unhinged and dangerous.

Ya know I always kinda imagined Gabara as being that one toxic, unlikable friend to Minilla that he only ever has around because he doesn’t have anybody else to hang out with. That dynamic could actually work pretty well but he usually is purely the big bad “bully” character as Godzilla’s Revenge showed him as, probably because he was mostly forgotten about by Toho after the movie lol.

I've always felt like Gabara was criminally underrated. Yeah, he kinda ugly, but in a cool way. Also, he was doing the world a favor.

It's very murky for those who know the context of that animation, and that happened in I don't know what country, but just like in the animation a boy was kicking a man, but it seemed the man didn't like that he was kicking him and The man picked up the child and hit him in the same way. This happened on a train, but obviously the man did not laugh like Gabara does, but all the previous movements were real 🙁
