there's also an addon named "animation layers" which simplifies the nla editor into a small and useful n-sidebar panel. I think using that is more intuitive.

How do I make action editor scroll automatically when I'm trying to select a big row of keyframes like when I'm dragging the selection box how do I make it automatically just scroll all the way down instead of MOVING little side slider to move it down and select each time

Hi, great video. I’ve seen your videos on cc4 and iClone, amazing software ha? Hey I have a question- I bought a a fps weapon animations. It seems the fbx file must have the animations separated. I imported it into blender but only one animations plays. I new to blender I’m sure there in there maybe the action editor? How do I export all animations on one timeline? Or how to I export the animations separately? Because when I bring into iClone as stock fbx it only see one animation.

Is there any way to join action strips on different objects into one when you join two objects together, or do you have to join and then create the NLA strip and actions?

Hi markom! Can i just do the body action in blender with insert keyframe and use iphone app capture the real time face motion, after that merge them in one scene for the character? Or another ways better than this? Im a beginner just use blender 😂

Hey I have two objects that I've animated, I wish to make into one action. But the actions keep exporting separately. Take for example goku doing a kameha, how would you make this into one action if the body & blast are two different objects.

Thanks for your video ! - can you please explain how to determine the channel index number for the corresponding object in the NLA editor? I can code animations fine, I can push animations down with but I don't always have the index number? I can't figure out how, using code, you get the channel index #? Thanks

is there a history LIST where you can see a LIST of ALL last actions so you can find the one you want to undo, click on that, and go BACK IN TIME to the time-point of THAT action??

Hi Markom, just joined your channel. love your work.
I have a question, a bit complicated :/
-In short: How do I take a frame of cached smoke or cloud and replay it for every rendered frame.
-To clarify: Let's say I do a simulation to make a nice cloud, cache it, then want to use a single frame of that cloud in a scene, ditching the rest of the cache data and have a "freeze frame" from a simulation as an object I can render/reposition.
-Purpose: to make a lean project that can be farmed out online render farm, and general learning.
Would be cool to have a video about how to mess with cached data as assets.
