Why does ND not being in a conference bother so many people? That doesnt make them weak or overrated.They have played the likes of stanford when they were good usc when they are good ohio st last year, clemson, texas am this year, michigan is a rival they stopped playing but always held there own. The variety of always having to plan for diff styles and top opponents year in and year out is whats made ND special.

Everyone saying that nds schedule is weak but 8 out of 12 teams on this years schedule had winning records last year. Miami ohio and northern illinois are more impressive games to win then fcs teams that most sec "powerhouses" face. Espn makes money off of sec teams getting in year in and year out .why dont the sec schedule more big ten games or nd to prove there physical enough

Beating Texas AM and describing it as an impressive win against an SEC team is typical hype for Irish. AM are not a good SEC team. Their middle of the road at best. 12-13 their last two seasons is not a quality opponent. They love to give SEC credit when they lose but not when they beat everyone
