I like to think of the Castle building as more of a keep, that could be part of a complete castle with additional walls and towers built around it

Imagine if aoe 4 was on this scale. I feel it was a wasted opportunity to have the sizes of the cities, armies, and battles stay on the same scale as 2 and 3. They could have made it bigger.

This reminds me that in the alpha, the castle was pretty big and was mostly just a keep with walls around it. The AoE2 feels like a compact castle.

Ive always wanted it with just a small tweak around building and unit size, just units a touch smaller and buikding a bit larger and itd be perfect
