Thank you. I have been struggling with this for the last few weeks as I tried to tackle the monumental task of organizing and categorizing my photos. Over the period of a couple weeks I ended up with about a dozen different zip folders of full libraries with so many duplicates I almost just threw out the entire computer. I was so frustrated. You and this application has saved my sanity! I went and bought a Mac Mini just to get these photos in order. I am beyond satisfied with the purchase from FatCat, and can’t thank you enough.

I can delete fotos after copying them into another library, but I can not delete the empty album - I have to go into photos app to do it there.
Did I miss something?

Can you use PowerPhotos to manage and delete photos on your iPhone from your mac? I don't like to use iCloud and I don't every photo available to me on my computer also on my phone, and manually deleting photos one by one on your phone is time-consuming. I'd also like to be able to choose what's on my phone and every now and again, copying new photos to my mac.

Attempted to duplicate the Default Library in my MacBook Air to an external disc. I get the message:

Could not copy file (The operation couldn’t be completed. Permission denied)

Any help would be appreciated.

I have like 8 separate Libraries in various locations & sizes. Is there a way to consolidate ALL libraries into ONE. and Trash the others.. Total sizes are over a TB and would like to Delete Duplicates while doing so.. 2 of the libraries are close to 500 GB but same pictures. Thanks

I am trying the trial offer. The library I am trying to merge says it is old and needs to be upgraded first. Any estimates on how long this takes? It has been about 30 minutes and it is still calculating the size. As long as it works, I can wait. :) I will buy the program if it works.

I thought I had a workaround, export to external disc and import to a new Photos database, however the location data was lost. I may have a clue as to my previous question, PowerPhoto does not like Sony's RAW format (ARW) and will not display the image.

Brian, I’m a senior citizen and have more than 52, 000 photos. I have a license. I need basic help. What do the icons mean on the top of the screen when open? Which is merge? Check duplicates? I’ve seen all videos I can find. Please help me. I also can’t figure out how to contact fatcat…it keeps trying to sell it to me again. Judy
