ALIGN: Advance Learn Innovate Grow Network for Child Welfare Workers

The Florida Institute for Child Welfare seeks to promote safety, permanency, and well-being among children and families within the child welfare system. Florida's child welfare system has experienced challenges with stabilizing and sustaining its professional workforce. To address many of the components of Senate Bill 1326, the Florida Institute for Child Welfare established the GROW Center.

The GROW Center is the heart of the Institute's professional advancement offerings and creates a dynamic through-line from classroom to casework to retain workers who grow, competently, into leaders at all levels of the workforce.

The GROW Center’s ALIGN initiative offers holistic support for child welfare professionals and advancement opportunities throughout their career. ALIGN features a learning community that includes support through training and onboarding, opportunities for specialization through Advanced Certification courses (AdCert), as well as ongoing mentoring and coaching.
