Just about 5 miles wide but 1.4 times more massive than the Sun. In this video, we're talking about neutron stars, the imploded cores of massive stars created by supernovae.

Say, was that the neutron star you have in your garage or did you use someone else's? You know I always understood that the atoms were smashed down to neutrons. But this video slammed me with the reality of it.. dang so many things to learn about them I have always just passed by the creation of the neutron. Freaking amazing.. you always seem to point out to me the basics that I sometimes never really stop and think about.. Brother your the only guy I know that can take a subject I know a bit about and open my eyes to things I have passed by hundreds of times.. My great thanks to you Ardit.. what a job you guys are doing.. I am sure you are helping to create the next group of astrophysics and astronomers.. Carry on son!

is there a difference in the neutrons in the stars and the neutrons in a normal atom

I'll be one of these in a few million years. A small tightly condensed object with a gravitational pull so powerful that I'll begin to bend the laws of physics but not break them unlike blackholes.
That will be something I wonder if I'll still be retain my personality once I become one as some of the neutron stars, I've talked to seem off like they are missing something about them that they once had they seem unaware. I wonder if it's the supernova or the loss of mass that makes them like that.
well I guess I'll find out in a few million years
