Win-H is the shortcut to launch Dictate. It is built into Office 365 now.

The system wide Speech Recognition app built in Windows 10, is not nearly as good as Dictate; at least I have found since downloading/using Dictate in MS Word recently. When I use the built in Windows 10 Speech Recognition to dictate, it tends to crash and/or poorly recognizes my speech (especially in apps that use more memory, works great in notepad). So far, using Dictate is at least 75% more accurate than Speech Recognition and does not occasionally crash. *I wonder when they'll be adding it to OneNote* :-) !!

Will it work on any of the social media sites or youtube? I'm using voice typer, which works great anywhere but is $9 a month since I can't type. It's worth it for Me. I can't believe That is as fast and Powerful as computers are now. That we still have to type. And we can't just talk to our computers.

Tried it today. It's very very alpha quality (no wonder it's a Garage project)
1. It requires VSTO runtime which they forgot to include in their installer. They don't tell anything about it anywhere, thankfully I knew about VSTO addins so I installed it to get it working.
2. Doesn't work with Click-To-Run versions of Office as of now which means majority of Office 2013 and 2016 versions incompatible. Only MSI volume license editions are supported
3. Their UserVoice website for posting suggestions is broken. Doesn't actually accept suggestions.
4. When it doesn't work, it hangs and crashes Office applications.

This installed and works in WORD, but I'm not seeing it on EXCEL!?? What gives? Says it's for OFFICE, not just Word. Please help...I have tons of data to enter into Excel & speech to text entry would be great if it works. MS Office 2016 BTW. Thanks in advance.
