En Gedi (Hebrew for "kid spring") is an oasis located on the western shore of the Dead Sea. It is referenced several times in the Hebrew Scriptures, perhaps most notably for being the place where David hid from King Saul who sought to kill him. In 1971, the area became a nature reserve that serves as a wildlife sanctuary for various species of plants, birds, and animals. The Bible tells of David being at En Gedi where “David Spares Saul’s Life”, in the book of First Samuel, chapter 24, verses 1 to 22.

I have watched a number of your videos this evening, and I want to say thank you so much for making them. I am disabled and can not travel to the Holy Land so your videos were both educational and fun to watch. They also were a great pick me up, as we have had a huge family crisis just yesterday, and these videos helped to bring me a great calm and peace as I focused my mind on the Lord. Thank you so much. In Christ, Ken<><
