My old tablet is for a digital aquarium (a video in loop), time and date and weather station, cctv screen (Alfred app), photo frame, and remote.

Or turn your old Android phone/tablet into,
1- a media center (using Plex) so you can stream your mp3s, videos, movies from work.
2- or turn your old phones into security cameras.
3- or create free messaging (using Firechat) no data, using bluetooth only. Useful if power is out.

CNET should know by now. The applications shown are likely to drop support for iOS/Android before the end user is actually finished using the damn thing. They never seem to consider their full demographic and cut off a large % of the market when the market ain't ready.

My Samsung Galaxy 10.1 is too old (9 years) to be able to run any new app so I can't download anything on it, the capacity is too small and I get constant errors that is out of date so it can no longer be updated due to the old system. So tips that work are welcome. This tablet is almost new and was used a handful of times, so how can I use it as a second screen for my laptop?
