8ish months ago, I found my old red 3ds. After reading the guide, I was shocked that it only took me 20 minutes from start to finish.

Easy to follow, just the constant putting in and taking the Micro SD out is the annoying part about it, but it's well worth it. The easiest handheld by far to hack is a Vita. Which is ironic because before I hacked a Vita I was thinking it was complicated when in fact it was very simple and fast.

I was very cautious about home brewing my 3ds since I had mine for 11 years and didn’t want to brick it. I only went through video guides and was still confused, then someone told me to just do it from the website and now I feel stupid for not doing that sooner.

my 3DS was the first console i had ever hacked and i was a bit anxious about doing it since my 3DS is very special to me, i've had mine ever since i was 10. however it was actually really straightforward and easy to do. i used the Pichaxx (Pokemon Picross) method, i forgot most of the steps but it involved using an ID from the SD card, using a seedminer with that, friending a bot who would send you something and using Picross to find a vulnerability and allow you to install homebrew. it was mostly just a lot of copying files from my computer to my SD card and installing stuff, pretty standard and i found it to be really easy!! now i can emulate games from older consoles, mod save files and even commit a little piracy here and there. very cool!!!

I bought a Japanese 3DS that arrived today, and even though I had to return it since parts of the touch screens were incorrectly detecting my touches, it had the very same look that that 3DS had.

It’s even easier now. My friend asked me to mod his 3DSs and the steps were even simpler than they were when I modded mine last year. Anemome, FBI, Universal Updater, Homebrew Launcher, and Checkpoint were all a single download rather than downloading them all individually! You also don’t need to add a new Wifi network or input your friend code. It’s amazing how it’s getting simpler every year!
