Smart #1 Brabus: A Better Buy Than A Tesla?

At the risk of being crucified by the Teslaholics around the world, we are ready to accept the backlash. Yes, the Smart #1 Brabus does have a weird name, but it is a lot of fun to drive and could just be a better buy than a Tesla. As far as driving dynamics go at least.

When reviewing EVs, you should review the app too. It’s such a key part of owning an EV. For eg - can you remote start the aircon? Can you monitor the state of charge while you are charging and shopping? Can it do OTA updates? Somehow many reviews missed out on the app that is such an important part of the car

13:05 i placed booking for this reason. Out of all the electric cars smart is 1 you dont need to stress about. Service 1 year 20km. 10 year battery warranty. If you battery kong they have unlimited towing. Its styled by Mercedes while i dont trust the car free from planned obsolescence i at least can shiok sendiri with the interior unlike tesla that is even more kosong than a saga

Not wearing seatbelts is just plain wrong and dangerous. Safety First. Media Reviewers should encourage people to use their seatbelts, not give them wrong ideas to circumvent the use of seatbelts.
Otherwise it’s another good review.

I'd rather buy a Trabant than a Tesla ;-))...
But this Brabus #1 reminds me so much of what a Mini EV could have been. The current Mini EV's pretty woeful and has the audacity to have the Cooper S badge on the back of it too. But with a range of less than 150 miles and a 0-60 time of 7 1/2 seconds. Nope! it's not a Cooper car.
