That's actually impressive how they kept the same charm and vibe after 64 years, it's also not a bad sequel I liked it just as much as the first one

Considering that year-gap, Bambi 2 gives off the same feelings and vibes of the original, which is more than I can say for most movie sequels that were made with barely a decade between a gap.

Also, am I the only one who liked Bambi 2 slightly better than the original? I just like that we get more of child Bambi and get to explore the relationship with him and his dad.

Don’t forget that Sir Patrick Stewart himself recently became a toddler when the first Bambi came out and became the voice of the Great Prince many years later when Bambi II entered production!

Bambi 2 bridges the gap between his mom's death and adulthood.

"Should we make a Bambi 2?"
Producer: *over 60 years later* ok, yeh 👴

And they still managed to do the original justice! Unlike a lot of other sequels, this one has the same „vibe“ to it, I love that they kept the character designs and animation style, the story still fits within the original and it doesn’t feel so forced. Also it doesn’t take away from the original but only adds to it. Also I love the character development for the great prince! Bambi was and is one of my favourite childhood movies!

There needs to be a plan for Bambi 3 if Disney goes back to 2D but that's a big deal if there can do a 3rd movie

*Bambi 2 did what the original could not:* While Bambi 1 feels like I'm watching Nat Geo Wild with pretty colors, in Bambi 2 I'm actually meeting the characters and feeling attached to them.

I only watched the first one once or twice as a kid, but the second one...? damn.

so that means people who lived to see the first bambi back then probably couldn't see the sequel now lmfao

Wait there is a Bambi 2?
And it was made in 2006? A year before my brother was born?
God what have I been doing

As a kid I remember where his mother got killed. When they released it later it was removed.

Did you know that Bambi 2 was given a European theater release. This was due to the original movie having released in 1942 when the world was at war, so European children regardless of nationality were unable to see the movie.

I swear these people waited for this sequel longer than we did for GTA 6
