$150 upgrade on an 11hour flight is amazing! I would definitely pay that even if the seat isn’t so nice.

So I have had a crazy experience on Condor. Flew from Las Vegas to Frankfurt and back in 2018, I believe. I flew economy on the outbound flight and this is probably one of the worst examples of a budget flight I have taken. Before the first meal was served, one flight attendant served drinks. Every time she turned her back to the cart, two young ladies sitting in front of me stole the small individual serving size liquor bottles from the cart. Later, I observed another female economy passenger steal a bottle of wine from the galley during downtime in the cabin. Also, the flight attendants attempted to catch two people in separate incidents who smoked in the lavatories. But the worst part was a lady in an aisle seat two or three rows in front of me. She became airsick and it must have happened suddenly because all she was able to do was turn into the aisle. She threw up all over the aisle floor and ran to the bathroom in embarrassment. She locked herself in the lavatory for about two hours. The flight attendant who was assigned to our section of the plane was very young and she announced that she could not clean up the aisle. No other flight attendant volunteered and I would say the smell lingered for a good 45 minutes until a Good Samaritan, a female passenger (unrelated to the women who threw up) volunteered to clean up the mess. After that was completed, one of the flight attendants applied the chemical that neutralized the smell. All this happened on one flight and I tell this story frequently. I have and will not fly Condor airlines again.

I have flown Condor twice recently, LAS to FRA and FRA to LAS in economy. My experience was similar - friendly crew, prompt service, clean cabin. Economy is just that simple, but adequate meals, pillow and blanket. The movie selection - only one! I advise bringing a tablet with loaded videos or paying for the upgrade to premium economy. As an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan member, I received miles for the flight. Good value for the money.

Hey Josh 👋🏻. The main looked delicious 😋. Btw, I’m old enough to have flown the following types of aircraft ... Super Constellation, DC-6B, DC-7, DC-8, B-707 (my favorite), B-720B, 727, 747, 767, 757. I must admit, flying on the propeller planes was really flying. The DC-6B had a small circular sofa and table in the tail section. The DC-8 and the B707 had a small lounge in the First Class compartment. Of course, we dressed up to fly in those days. Today, sadly, people come on board looking like they’ve just come in from mowing the lawn. 😞

How good is a long haul flight with a really interesting person sitting next to you...funny man with some great aviation stories !! I may have commented before Josh but I sometimes find the angle flat bed more comfortable than a fully flat bed ? Might sound a bit strange but I am a tall person and find the foot well on the full recliners too small on some airlines! I would say there was plenty of food on offer for both meals...breakfast looked huge !! That is great about what the crew did for the couple who had the IFE problem....that's customer driven service!! Great flight and you and Bill should do more flights together !! Well done as always Josh!

It just goes to show that a flight can be more than the sum of its parts. Nothing you showed was industry leading, but it's clear to see that the combination with great crew and fellow passengers made for a better experience than some $10k+ first class tickets.

I need to tell you my scariest experience on a flight, strangely in the 5 star airline Lufthansa, it was an A321 with the retro livery. It was a flight from Frankfurt to Malta, just the taxi was horrible because we were going too fast and when wee needed to turn, it was horrible. Then, the take off, just one second later to leave ground engine lost power and we almost touch ground again (the good thing was that that the runway was very long) and later we gain thrust again. The mid flight was okay just some turbulences. The landing: the approaching in malta was easy, no, super easy but we made the hardest landing ever! I was a very bit injured because I kicked the front seat! And later, seriously, the driver of the bus drived so bad that I almost vomit. Some flight attendants were rude, others not... It just had a good thing, the airplane was perfectly cleaned and good food.
Also, You uploaded the video the day of my birthday!! And I loved the video! Keep on the good work Josh!
