The Backseat Lovers have made quite a name for themselves since their debut album, "When We Were Friends," was released in 2019. With their song "Kilby Girl" earning about half a billion streams and a sold-out show at Stubb's, it's clear that these guys are rising stars.
The band's newest album "Waiting To Spill" is out now via Capitol Records.

one of the greatest feelings I've ever had is finding my favorite band. I remember growing up how my dad would know every song from U2 and would love signing any of them at any time and I would think to myself "I wish I felt this connected to a music band one day". Suddenly one afternoon going back home from work I decided to play this song suggested by my Apple Music algorithm called "Kilby girl", before the end of the week I had basically memorized every freeking song realized from them to that point. What strikes me the most is just this feeling as if this band is growing up with me, as if they knew just what im going through, I wonder if that's what my old man felt too.
