Exploring Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) in the City of Kwinana!

Nino Scidone is a Coordinator Engineering Developments at the City of Kwinana. Their team aims to manage water systems in an environmentally sustainable way while enhancing the livability and resilience of the City of Kwinana.

Nino is going to show us some WSUD in Wellard and highlight a range of sustainable urban water management practices:

Nice video Nino, thanks for the tour. What does CoK do when the trees in the rain gardens have established and sediment again needs to be removed or the engineered soils are clogged / no longer able to strip nutrients? Do you again remove and re-establish?
