I'm still prodding along with my built-in sofa DIY! Making progress but also making some mistakes along the way. It's all part of the process, I guess :) :D

An idea to make the slats of your pull-out bed slide (more) smoothly: Wax the upright sides of them with a candle slightly.

Easy fix - cut out a crescent moon shape on the edge (if you can live with it), and it'll be covered by the cushion. Just an idea. Still amazing work by you.

I know how hard it is for a perfectionist to tolerate imperfections in their work. I am one! Allowing myself a bit of wiggle room occasionally has relieved me of the self inflicted pressure . You do a wonderful job!
