I was diagnosed with malformations in a scan of my head.My doctor said he saw white spots or infection so he did a lumbar puncture that gave me a terrible headache for a month. It got worse I had tingling on the left side of my body and was rushed to the ER and was diagnosed with a blood clot in the superior sinus now I take blood thinner scheduled for 6 months.Point is people with a rare malformations shouldn’t have a lumbar procedure in my opinion.
