The Zero G launcher was made to be used with the Zero G stadium, where the rim of the stadium is raised quite prominently. The vertical design is to aid in launching inside of the stadium instead of accidentally hitting the rim of the stadium when launching.

You might think that the way he launch was a little bit awkward that's because he's using different stadium, he used metal fight stadium instead of Zero G stadium

Plus the weight of the Zero G beys is much heavier than metal fight beys so they make longer and much powerful launcher that can handle the weight of the Zero G beys, and that's the reason why the string is longer

The purpose of the launchers design was to be used in the Zero G stadiums as they had a protective cover that would be difficult to launch with normal string launchers.

The Zero G launcher was used for the Zero G stadium with higher walls, AND Synchrome beys which were incredibly heavy. For this reason the launchers had to be significantly more powerful.

The reason why its angled like that is because its specifically used for Zero-G stadiums, where the bey is supposed to glide around its edges. Then again, it didn’t work well, which is why Zero-G flopped so badly.

Ooh, this was actually my first launcher that i owned which was gifted to me when i asked for tops. Dunno how they got it in a pretty reasonable price back when i was a kid, but i loved that launcher for its utility. It had like 3 functions that i knew from experience. First was that, the string rewinder, which cuts the hassle needed (Quite common nowadays), Second was the two slots at its side, which is actually where you can slide in an accessory (Which i didn't have back then), and finally the most useful for me, and probably the least mentioned, is the bottom part of the handle, which is actually detachable and functions as a wrench for face bolts and performance tips. Sadly lost it years ago, it was indeed a fun experience back when i still had it.
