I always get a 90s rock ballad vibe from the song, especially live. Always makes me think of Aerosmith or Guns N' Roses, don't know why.
The song was written by Inaba Koshi, the vocalist of the duo B'z. Who are, by the way, the most selling Japanese artists of all time and at one time had 50 consecutive #1 singles. I think they also have their hand prints in Hollywood's Walk of Fame for musicians? Something like that. At her Shinzou live show in the National Stadium last year the other half of B'z, Matsumoto Takahiro played the guitar for the performance while Ado was "encapsuled" in a huge flower on stage.
