At this point the craziest challenge would be to see them tackle writing a song without a ridiculous limitation.

This new Royal Blood album is sounding epic

Guys pay attention to the techniques and approach Andrew has when he is not thinking too hard. Lots of chromatic three note movement and the recurring shapes. Every riff has building blocks like this. Find your building blocks and mix and match! Many riffs are just like 8 tiny riffs strung together in different orders.

The only thing more impressive that they wrote 100 riffs in a day, is that they came up with 100 names for those riffs in the same day. 😂

This is literally just a jam session that they recorded, nothing more.
What a fun time

This riff experiment is proof of Adam Neely's famous quip, "repetition legitimizes." Also, this was super fun!

the lack of 38 means they should totally have a song in first of October called 38

Andrew might be good as riffing, but god rob is so great at naming

andrew and rob just simultaneously providing tons of inspiration and removing these riffs from the pool of available riffs

Wow you're so good at that, you guys could probably write a whole album in a day!

Definitely many riffs sounding like Muse and Royal Blood had a baby. Loving it!

The white stripes have been very quiet since this came out

This Stoner Rock energy better bleed over into the next First of October record, these riffs are gnarly.

Some riffs are like mixing muse and royal blood. Amazing
