Space Invaders started in Japan in 1978- became popular in 1980 when it hit the U.S. as a coin operated arcade game, then followed by Atari 2600 and lastly by Nintendo NES. Awesome that you got each color. 🙌🏼

Space Invaders is certainly one of the first video games to ever come out, not sure if it was on the Atari, but I'm fairly certain. All you're missing is the ship that you use to attack them! You know what other Pops would be cool to get? From the video game Galaga! It's similar to Space Invaders, but you fly into outer space with your jet and attack the very fast ships that are coming at you, anyways, older gamers will know what I'm talking about, it's a classic! Wonder which other Pops from video games we will get in the future?

I have bought the gitd because i am a sucker for those! Athens-con greece exclusive also in my region.Also the blacklight specials seems to had an earlier release with those neon colors! 😉 I freaking need a purple light flashlight as well for my glow pops!

Loved the game back in the 80s, but these don’t appeal to me at all. Maybe it’s the 8-bit look and plain colors?

I was lucky there not out yet in UK, but ordered mine from Think Geek USA, although they state they can’t guarantee colours as it’s down to the robot in the warehouse. I ordered four and got all different colours. The other two I bought off of eBay. So once again an easy find and didn’t even leave the house.

I'm a bit jealous. All Gamestops in my area got blue. There are no EB Games or Think Geek stores in my area. Was able to order the green invader online. Still hoping to find the other colors eventually.

Best version is the game boy version (because it includes the SNES version if you use a super gameboy)
