In christian demonology Amon is a demon that knows the past and the future and gives his knowledge to those that make a deal with the devil. He is also associated with the Egyptian God Amun, his name meaning "hidden one".

Annotations to this translation:

"The flower petals put up a play of neglect" - Kyo sometimes leaves out all particles in a line, making it possible to read it in many different ways. In this case it means that it actually isn't clear what is putting up what. The flower petals might be put up (hung up) inside the play of neglect, or by it, or it's them putting up a play of neglect.

"The beasts loudly hit the door" - I chose "loudly" because it leaves room for interpretation, but the word used mostly refers to a ringing sound.
