Je ne pensais pas pas un jour voir dans des commentaires, le terme" médiocre" et la notion de "peu inspiré" accolés à cette oeuvre. Ce Quintette de Vierne est pour moi, par sa sincérité, la beauté des thèmes, les conditions humaines liées à son écriture, de loin le plus magnifique quintette avec piano jamais écrit. C'est une pièce incroyable !!! autant par sa perfection que par le fait qu'elle soit si peu connue! Un grand Merci à tous pour votre interprétation convaincante. Et .... que les oreilles de certains "spécialistes" guérissent!!

Superb performance of a rather mediocre but beautifully wrought composition. Definitely was happy to hear it for a change but the composer does what too many of the less inspired and imaginative do (recent exact feelings about Janacek) and just take a beautiful motive and “beat it to death”. But surely this is an inspired ensemble I’ll keep track of.
