I think you could have gone through it in like 30 minutes with the mini pickaxe or hammer and chisels, if you focus a bit more on a single point. Big Pickaxe isn't useful since there not enough room to do a proper swing and doing those side swing isn't doing anything, also use the small pointy head.

throughout all these types of videos I've come to the conclusion that its not always about force but technique and in how you hit the walls. more specifically you should them with lighter and quicker swings as you might deal more damage at a faster rate
