I think this video summons up my first impression of Officer Kim Burgess. I really didn't think much of her at first. But then, when she proved how much of a badass she is, I was pretty shocked, and she became one of my favorite characters in Chicago P.D.

she is so tough!! I used to watch this with my younger sister when she was 9. don’t ask, we didn’t let her watch the inappropriate stuff okay lmao! anyways, she would always get scared when Kim got hurt or shot and and my dad and I started saying “badass girls got guns” whenever something happened to Hailey and Kim!! It was really funny, this is truly my favourite show ever. I love Chicago Fire too but they are different. PD has a place in my heart though🩷🩷 I LOVE IT SO SO SO MUCH, THEY ARE ALL SO GOOD!

Kim hadn’t been wanting to go back to work & Adam was basically supporting that but Voight knew that this was what Kim really needed after being shot - to take down a bad guy and show that she could still do it
