The men know how he treated them. That is why they love their Captain. Anything else is bs.

"First we need to take care of the sailors ". Seems like the captain was doing just that.

The Navy is responsible for the health of his sailors. The Captain is a hero.

How many people actually believe that the Captain at first did follow the chain of command but when response from Navy was slow to act that Captain escalated his actions?

He was booted out of revenge. The man is a hero, I'm sure he'd do it over the same way.

HIS MEN APPLAUDED HIM.
And he knew they came first.

"Just 150 tested positive" - They can't care less. That's really losing faith in leadership.

Clearly the public isn’t buying it and completely disagree with this administration.

A "Loss of confidence" in him? The entire ship was cheering his name in the loudest way they were allowed.

As a Veteran I am more than pissed off! I'd rather happily serve under this man than take an order from the current Liar in Chief to go to chow.

When you act in the interest of your men and dare to criticize your Dear Leader. Is this North Korea?

"It's another example of how we hold leaders responsible for their actions"

I had to laugh at that...

Mark Esper - "This shows how we hold leaders accountable for their actions." . . . but this doesn't apply to my BOSS.

He is literally pissing away his reputation and integrity in real time and for what? A lifelong criminal.

The Navy Captain must have known he wouldn't have been heard, therefore, he took the route he took to keep his men and women safe.
It's amazing they pardoned an officer just recently for horrific crimes but, fires this man for saving his men.
