3rd Cosmology School - Galactic chemical evolution - lecture by Dr Samuel Boissier
Показать описание
Dr Samuel Boissier, CNRS researcher (Directeur de Recherche) at LAM,
LAM deputy director.
- Scientific interest: computing models of the chemical and spectro-photometric evolution of galaxies, using ultra-violet to infrared
data to study extinction and star formation in nearby late-type galaxies, studying the properties of Low Surface Brightness galaxies and of the
outer parts of normal disk galaxies.
- A member of the council of the Société Française d'Astronomie et d'Astrophysique (SF2A), and its president for 2 years (2016-2018).
- A member of the French national program for galaxies and cosmology (PNCG) and its director since
2020.
(19 July 2017)
