Do you guys use a cross peen or a straight peen hammer in your forging? Do you think it would help in your projects?

I like the rustic style of your hammers, and thought the quench was quite amusing because you looked speeded up but weren't...
I have never used a double pien hammer but I can certainly see a number of projects where one would be very useful.

Glad that you didn't forget about the press.

Nice video, regards from Down Under. (The place where we view everything from underneath 😀)

Idea 💡🤔. Watching you aggressively moving the hammer head in the quench tank, wondering if a full frame spray system will be better than the tank system? Constantly spraying the head from every direction keeping the water in constant contact with the head without moving the head out of the boiling bubbles that is caused in the tank system.

Looks like you're forge floor could use a new set of fire bricks 🤔

Cool little hammer! Have you ever made a diagonal peen hammer? I prefer them to straight/cross peen hammers because the holding position feels more natural.

Seeing some grease, hope you didnt put grease in the Babit bearings, these need oil.

I see you use a large contact wheel is there an advantage over a flat platten
