Make ring with a zip tie to keep your tongs closed for storage. Slide the ring down the handle to use them.

I get eggs in Styrofoam egg cartons and can easily stack two, one on top of the other, and they don't slide around. That is 36 eggs with 18 in each carton. I thought about getting egg holders but keeping them secured in a carton is more efficient.

I use a toaster several times a day so I keep it on the counter under a cabinet and move it out when needed. I have never noticed any crumbs on my counter so I'll have to look more closely to see why.
