I have a tip for save scumming and trying to get the most out of stock returns: (This is more so for the later Lester hit missions that are back to back, with few or no missions in between)

1.) Create a save (I'll call it SAVE-A) before your investment and while you still have money in the bank.
2.) Do OGG's method of time-skipping and checking the stock market for a positive return percentage that you like.
3.) Once you sell all stocks with each character for the profit, create another save (SAVE-B).
4.) Load back to SAVE-A, if you want to try and wait a day or more for an increase in the return price. If you end up receiving more money, you could create a new save (SAVE-C) or overwrite SAVE-B since it will be your "lesser profit" save file.

I had 2.1 billion with every character and 1 assasination left. What i did i bought everything literally, every gun skins, properties, planes cars clothing. Then i did the last assasination and got the money back that i spend. Now im sitting with 2.1 billion with every character and everything purchased.

Followed all the steps and maxed out everyone even without the last lester mission (i picked up abt 200k from the 25k ocean briefcase and did a bit of usual stock trading additionally for trevor). Sometimes it took shorter/longer to get the stock to expected level, but checked it every time after sleeping anyways xd. Redwood was indeed gamechanging, made me ~277%. Bought every property and still have some stocks leftover, so great vid!

Thank you so much, man! I followed the guide step by step. Unfortunately I missed two big things; bringing the 4 people to the cult as Tevor as well as not being able to get the tinkle guy to spawn when I wanted him too(I know I didn't use him because I drove by him so many times after watching this video I stayed as far away as possible. Still nothing but it ended up still working out in the end. After the 4th assassination mission I had to sell out stocks of both Michael and Franklin and had a buy a bunch of stuff because I had already hit the 2.1 billion mark. With the last mission, I succeeded with making Trevor 2.1 and had to sell and buy some stuff so I could empty his stock. There are a couple of things I ended up doing slightly different mainly just on the amount of sleep time, to get to the right percentages before buying or selling(I'm thinking that's a console thing) I just really really really want to say thank you. I'm someone that's only been playing video games since January and I'm in my early 30s so having some guidiness I'd always nice. Last of all, I had my doubts that I'd make it to 2.1+ billion on each character, especially Tevor but by following your guide I did. You're a legend man!

I just wanna thank you for this amazing guide. It took almost 2 weeks of consistent grinding and a bit of frustration but I managed to reach 2.1b with both Michael and Franklin and 2b with Trevor all with the last assassination mission left to go. I followed everything to the letter and I had my doubts at first but it worked perfectly. Phenomenal guide.

Great video. Couple things I wanted to add from my experience following these guidelines. Sometimes I had to advance time further then recommended after investing to maximize returns especially the Lester assassination missions. Also once you get more than the 2.1 billion you can invest that money for the next assassination mission then sell previous stock and use that money to also invest in the next assassination mission. This way you can invest more than 2.1 billion in the last few assassination missions. Doing this I got Michael a little over 9 billion. Franklin 5.9 billion and Trevor 5 billion. Great video! This was my third playthrough and probably my last because I'm never going to be able to spend all this money!

I'm on my final stages of this method, so I though I would write down a couple of tips for those doing it in the future:
1- Watch the whole video CAREFULLY and read the entries for the missions, random encounters and game choices on the wiki. There are very helpful observations on bugs that might happen, how to max the money in heists, how to plan your crew carefully so you can perform the "Big Score" with as capable a crew as possible while also being the cheapest choice;

2 - ALWAYS turn off the autosave when doing the stock exchanges, but also create the habit of organizing your save files before/after crucial moments where player's choice/seed capital is a factor to be taken care of (e.g. I forgot to do the Epsilon missions before doing the hotel assassination, so I ended up losing a profit on top of the 2.1 million you get after the missions);

3 - If doing the Tinkle encounter as shown in the video, make sure you either don't trigger Trevor's mom mission or finish it before doing the method as explained. Also, if the quest of Trevor's mom is not triggered/the quest is finished but the random encounter doesn't happen, switch to Trevor and sleep for some 2-4 days. I was having this issue, then after 3 days I returned, already expecting it not to work and lose more valuable profit. To my surprise, it worked (but I forgot to do the fucking stock exchange, so now I'm loading another file to try it again);

4 - Use the waiting times as a guideline, but always try to play with the time skip. It's not that you should be greedy (I won't judge though), but sometimes I waited these 3-4 days and the percentage was still...not enough, but it sure skyrocketed once I pushed it a bit further (e.g. the Facade shares had valued just 4% after the 4th day, so I started time skipping with Trevor in intervals of 12h, and 7-8 days later I saw it reach a maximum of 33.33%).

GREAT guide DUDE! I did all the stock stuff you said (FlyUS made me millionair with all characters got tenthousand stocks at 30 $ sold them after Meltdown + Parenting 101 at 60.7 $ so i doubled my money on all characters!) not so solid were Gruppe6 and Merryweather but still i was like you said below 10 million $ (did a few daily stock trading for a tiny boost back in the days!) but HEY i am rich now and i am not even done that TINKLE or the other Assassination Missions!!! Wound up with 345% return on Redwood holy moses. Sitting at 1.9b with Michael, 1.52b with Trevor, 1.76 with Franklin, still have one more assassination mission left as well. Could probably sit on that last mission as "money in the bank"

Thank you so much for this! I've followed this and it's worked perfectly. I had a slight issue with AUG, i just had to keep an eye on it and sell at the right time, it didn't take as long as you said. Also big heads up, the epsilon mission we're you have to run in the desert. I messed this up and took me ages to work out how to restart it. Turns out you just go.back and start running 🤣 thanks again man! This was mega helpful 👍

Love the video. Easily made tons of cash on Michael to the game limit even before the 4th Lester mission. Only problem I have with the video and i'm not sure if this is a problem in my version of the game or on my platform or what but when I went to sell my FAC stock I could see it was going to be over the game limit if I tried to sell it all so I just cranked up the shares till it stopped and wouldn't let me add any more shares. But when I hit sell it gave me $0. It seemed the game couldn't tell the right place to stop the stock shares for some reason. I'm about to hit the cap on Franklin next so i'm going to try pushing in all the shares I can and then backing off just one share to see if that works. With Michael I just automatically backed off several shares and it worked ok so i'm testing now to see if max out -1 works for now on Franklin and then again on Trevor when he caps out. For reference I am on the PC version of the game on Windows 10 and I have the latest registered enhanced version of the game from Steam. Other than that minor bit of adjusting maybe it is an EXCELLENT video. Thanks.

UPDATE: Ok so after next mission both Franklin and Trevor were capped. If you want to sell max shares and get max in game money you can have at the moment just hold + till the game stops you, then back off one or two shares. I only needed to do one share back off for both of them with Vapid and it let me cash out with very close to max in game cash.

I just cashed out the Vapid stock on the Bus Assasination and I am already at 2.1 for each character, can't even claim the whole investment and still have a mission left, this is crazy money! Great guide!

I'm going through all this right now, on Steam PC. But I'm doing it based on the previous version of this guide. I didn't follow some of the early prep/seed money and investment suggestions since they aren't really needed if you get the $41.6 million in the finale. Mainly focusing on the assassination investments. I saw returns in some cases immediately (without sleeping), and others took much longer than the guide suggested. I've also found that quitting out of the game and reloading changes the stock prices and return potential. So far I have made a lot more than the previous guide stated. Just bought RWC and had to quit playing for the day. But I'm on track to go way over $2 billion for each character (possibly close to $3 billion). I just check the market before sleeping the first time and then in between each sleep session, saving each time the return improves. I'll post a reply with my final results.
