How to Edit PDF for Free

s there a way to edit a pdf file for free? The official way of editing PDF files is by using the Adobe Acrobat PDF editor. But there is another option that doesn’t cost anything.

The first way to edit a PDF is by using Adobe’s online PDF editor. Since Adobe is the creator of the PDF file format, this is the fastest and safest way to edit a PDF document.

You can also try Adobe Acrobat Pro DC with a free trial without any limitations for more advanced PDF editing options: (Affiliate link)

The second option is by using a free online editor called Sedja.

This option allows you to edit the actual document as well as annotate, without installing any applications.

The third option is using Microsoft Word. This is not a free option for editing PDF, but I’m including it since most people have Microsoft Word installed on their Mac or Windows PC already. Microsoft Word can open and fully edit PDF documents and you can save it as a PDF document once you make your edits.

Unfortunately, online editor free version is now extremely limited. You can only add commets, highlights text, add electronic signature and fill a form. Thats all.

Adobe doesn't allow to edit text anymore. Word is also paid. Such portable document format, much editor support :/
