I think it's really great doing a story out of New York. Peter Parker is really great when he's fish out of water, when he's out of his element and he has to adapt himself to the situation he's in. Continuing the "Home" title thematic in this movie really amused me. It woulda been nice if they didn't do the love interest thing with MJ, but I'm still very interested to see what they do with her at all. I've always been more of a Peter and Mary Jane fan in OG/Ultimate, but I admittedly never really read much of the Gwen-era stuff. Really stoked for this movie!

The BIG clue is the Globe turning into Spidey’s Head in the logo. All in his head? Including Nick? Mysterio might have Alien tech just like Vulture’s stuff.

In that mysterio being a villain thing, my guess is he created those monsters and he is intentionally defeating them to make himself look like the superhero. But deep down he is doing something else really bad. That's what he does.

My theory is Spider-Man will call him out for faking the attacks and mysterio and him will butt heads but an even greater threat will appear which will cause Spider-Man and mysterio having to team up together. But who knows marvel never likes to make anything easy to figure out with their movies. Or they like to mislead a little.
