What about heavy side sleepers who need support and a thicker layer of pressure relief? Me and my gf are both side sleepers and heavier. I weigh 320lbs and she is 200lbs, we bought the layla hybrid and sleep on the soft side. Both of us found the bed to be too firm. We get shoulder and hip pain after awhile and toss and turn. So we bought a topper for it. So we might return the bed, what is a good option if we do so ? I have been looking at the puffy Royale because it's thicker layers of comfort. Also the amerisleep as5, nectar premier copper and the dreamcloud premier rest.

I am so sick of mattresses only sold for two people . I don't find dense matresess comfortable at all. So no memory foam for me. I have fibromyalga and feel everything. I'm like the pricess and the pea and feel everything. I sleep alone have a queen size platform bed that can't have the matress beyond 12" and I get very very hot. I sleep with my 5lb. Dog and I'm 66. I'm struggling to find a matress that doesn't leave me sore. Yes I'm a side sleeper and sometimes end up on my tummy. Hips and neck and lower back get real sore. I wake up with a lower back sore every morning hips too as well as my shoulders. Please don't suggest any mstress fir couples.
