Nobody said anything about BRCA. She said I have Atypical Hyperplasia with a risk that's 4 to 5 times higher for getting caner. This was AFTER she operated, removed what the biopsy had found and looked at it under a microscope.
Why would she NOT mention BRCA?
Now I need to ask.
She said "The good news is you don't have cancer." But then she told me I have Atypical Hyperplasia, a risk for getting cancer that's 4 to 5 times higher than other women and that they'll be giving me a medicine they give to cancer patients after the cancer has been eradicated, in order to prevent it from occurring. They're trying to prevent me from getting cancer. I never heard of a medicine like that. I was married to a Research Scientist until 2003, whose specialty was Medicinal Research and he was looking for a cure for cancer after his mom died in 1999. He started doing it before she died but didn't hadn't found anything and it was still that way in 2003.
